Privacy Policy
In short: Kokino does not collect, store, share or sell any personal information. The app works entirely on your device, has no accounts, no advertising and no analytics, and does not ask for access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts or files.
This policy explains how the Kokino app (the "App") handles information. Kokino is a digital companion for the Kokino archaeological site and megalithic observatory, with an audio guide, legends and stories, and an interactive site map.
Information we collect
None. The App does not collect personal data of any kind, and we do not receive any information about you or how you use the App.
How the App works
- Content is built in. The audio narrations, photographs, site map, stories and visitor information are bundled inside the App. The App does not need to download anything to work.
- No internet access requested. The App does not connect to any server of ours or of any third party.
- No accounts. There is nothing to sign up for or log in to.
- No permissions. The App does not request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, files or any other personal data on your device.
- Language choice. The English / Macedonian switch is applied while the App is open and is not sent anywhere.
Directions to the site
The "Get Directions to Kokino" button opens the maps application you already have installed on your device (for example Google Maps), pre-filled with the coordinates of the Kokino site. Only the location of the site is passed on, never your location. What that maps application does with your information is governed by its own privacy policy.
Advertising, analytics and third parties
The App contains no advertising, no analytics or crash-reporting tools, and no third-party services that collect data. We do not share, rent or sell any information, because we do not have any.
Children's privacy
Because the App collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your country) either.
Data security and retention
Nothing about you is stored or transmitted by the App, so there is no personal data to secure, retain or delete. Uninstalling the App removes it and its built-in content from your device.
Changes to this policy
If the App changes in a way that affects your privacy, for example by adding a feature that uses your data, we will update this policy before that release. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the updated policy.
